My Bio
They call me Jack. I was born 20-something years ago and only come out of my cave on rainy days. I've been an artist for the stereotypical amount of time, and a photographer since I was twelve or thirteen.
My favorite camera is the Minolta x-700. It belongs to my mother and holds significant sentimental value to her, so I do plan on buying my own when I'm not drowning in past-due notices and can afford to dish out $50+ dollars.

I sometimes get asked why I like "cheap cameras" so much, and it's honestly because I don't think you have to have a monster of a camera - film or digital - to make what you want. Go for it if you have the means to buy it, otherwise, work with what you have.

Welcome to DA <3 Your profile picture is gorgeous. And just because it caught my eye, I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment about cameras not having to always be the fancy ones to get a good shot. I've had a few cameras over the years, but some of the best photographs I ever took came from an ancient hunk of a camera that used floppy disks.
